A bucket probley used to lift the men out and into the depths of the mine.
Excerpt Amador Ledger - Oct 29,1909
The miners were put to work again last Saturday, the mill having exhausted the reserves of ore stored to tide over the repairs in the shaft. After another quantity of rock has accumulated in the bins, another section of the shaft will undergo repairs, and so on until the shaft is in first-class condition.
Showing a mine car that was used to move the rock to the stamp mill. And to the left showing the back of the hopper area.
