Kennedy Mine, Jackson, Amador County

This is the change house where miners had to change their working cloths to make sure that they didn't have any gold on them.

"Oil storage building next to the change room building" In addition, you will see blacksmith tools, working models showing various gold mining techniques as well as a film showing the Kennedy in action which was taken about World War 1.

We think you will get a true feeling for just what gold mining in California was all about.
