    Formerly the old Chichizola store, How quaint to see the old post office boxes still being use today, by the community of Amador City.

    In Logan's Alley, Volume II, Logan lists all Amador County post offices (and first postmasters) from 1851 to cira 1930, with a few post-1930 listings included. Amador City- August 19, 1863, Samuel Scott

    This is the actual Post Office equipment that was used in Amador City for many years. It was installed in the building you see directly across the street as you stand here and look out the Museum’s front door. That was also the city’s drugstore
