The Steiner Home
A very lovely home, made of selected colored stones, was built by Walt Steiner. Steiner Road was named for
Walt, and he and his family were well known for many years prior to his death. It's sad to remember that Walt and his wife had two sons, both killed in World War II. Their names
are on the plaque at the Plymouth School.
This home is now owned by the Soban family, who also have the Shenandoah Winery, a tasting room, and art gallery on
the ranch. Grapes are now the main ranch crop from which award winning wines are made.
