Dal Porto Family

Page 2

Frank Dal Porto Sr.home. In 1949 the original ranch house was destroyed by fire. Frank Sr. and Frank Jr. rebuilt on the old foundation and walls. The walls of the house are brick. There is one wall on the outside and equal "dead air space" and then an interior wall of brick, making the walls about ten inches in width. This creates an almost perfect insulation so that on 100 degree days or 32 degree days, the house is cozy and comfortable.
