Once a thriving resort community for the rich and famous from the Bay Area, now just a small community on the out-skirts of Amador county. It is only a few feet from El Dorado county. 

If River Pines were to have a downtown, this would be it. Not much to see but what is left of an old resort.

The remnants of when River Pines was a resort community, many of the streets are decorated with stone markers .
