Amador County Ghost Towns

Amador's Ghost Towns were basically born by the mining and the communities that worked these mines within Amador County. Today there are still remains although small in most instances, we continue to add here as we receive information on these past communities.

Most all these communities were began or linked directly with specific families that descendants are still alive today. We are continueing to research and contact many that may be able to help us add to our listings or content. In the meantime, We hope that you enjoy the content that we have thus far.
